Belinda DeLaby, CBC,CPDT - Owner and Senior Instructor
Belinda has been a veterinary technician for over 20 years and professionally training dogs for 12 years. She graduated in March 2002 with a certificate in Canine Behavior Counseling from the American Institute of Animal Science. She is also an AKC Certified CGC Evaluator, as well as a Certified Pet Dog Trainer, certified by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Belinda handles all private training sessions and behavioral consultations. She also teaches Agility, Canine Good Citizen, and Perfect Puppy Basic Skills classes. Belinda's goal for 2007 is to become a certified Canine Behavioral Counselor through the Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors. Erin Meeks - Instructor
Erin started out as a volunteer for Canine Action. Her current vocation as a school teacher coupled with her passion for dog training has led her to a career as an instructor for Canine Action. Erin is currently teaching Perfect Puppy, First Step (basic), and Next Step (intermediate) classes. Erin is owned by Chance and Chewy; two beautiful, obedient dogs that she has rescued. Not only can her dog Chance can be seen utilizing his CGC skills as the demo dog for her classes; you can also see him participating in agility for fun when not "working". Trish Moyer - Instructor
Trish is the co-instructor to Belinda in basic agility classes. She is owned by Bailey, a beautiful 2 year old Boxer with a long list of accomplishments. Bailey has completed Basic through Advanced classes, received her Canine Good Citizen award, and participates in Agility. Watching Trish and Bailey work and play together is a perfect example of mutual love and respect. Recently, Bailey acquired a "little sister" named K.C. Dog Training Apprentice Wanted

Are you interested in becoming a dog trainer who utilizes positive training techniques? Canine Action is currently looking for a training apprentice on a volunteer basis.

Job Requirements

Qualified individual will assist the lead instructor with preparation, demonstration, and class flow while learning all phases of dog training.
